ROBOTIC PALLETIZER & STRETCH WRAPPING LINE IN GLASS WOOL INDUSTRY

KERAMIC family provide services with various machinery and equipment in the glass wool sector.

A project done by Keramik successfully for special glass wool blocks packed with PE bags production facilities of one of the biggest companies in this sector in the world as described below;

The job:

• Special glass wool blocks packed with PE bags should be controlled if their weight are in acceptable values
• Stacking the blocks over a pallet
• Rejected blocks (underweighted or over weighted ones) should be stacked on a different pallet
• Pallets should be stretch wrapped but not the rejected ones

Solution:

We used for this job;

• Check Weigher
• Reject Unit
• Conveyor system as needed for transfer operations
• One robot to stack the bags (both accepted and rejected packs) and empty pallet feeding to system
• Automatic turn-arm Stretch wrapper wraps film for outside weather conditions only for stacks including regular packs.
• No stretch wrapping for the stacks including rejected packs.
• Then pallets go to buffer conveyors to wait for forklift truck for transport operations.
